Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He has shaved his head bald. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his hazel eyes.
Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.
History: Rolen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Mayor. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.
Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: She is lean but muscular and wears a tan cloak and cross-gartered green stockings. Her hair is chestnut, silky, and of moderate length. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.
History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When Xanaphia reached her early adolescence her Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

Description: He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his scimitar with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. His blonde hair is still thick. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Priest born in the past three hundred years. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Priest. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: Further expansion of business.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He dresses well, wearing green shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His white hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He found a children's book about a Tiefling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: He is a physically imposing light-skinned man. He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. He wears a colorful flower in his white hair. He has a dull look in his brown eyes.
Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Mindartis enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He wears a white cloak and cross-gartered grey stockings. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His brown hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a small hat. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep violet.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: He was born on a small isolated farm. After coming to the age of reason, Felgrat took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He bought a scythe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and seeks redemption

Description: She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. She is portly but not overly obese. Her long auburn hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her skin is flawless and her blue eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.
History: Kristryd was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Butcher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Kristryd never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
Motivation: To unite with her brother; and doesn't want to be a butcher and was forced into it by her family

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: She was raised in a forest tribe. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is her passion
