History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Veloptima speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. Veloptima enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Mason. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Shepherd business.

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. Her first spouse was a Bricklayer, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. After a long history of fighting, Euphemia and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Chaedi was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She became a Tanner soon after.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and to protect her home
