History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. In her 19th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind.
