History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Body Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Body Guard work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Aldous is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Spring lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
