History: Efferil was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Efferil is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: Born in the north to a Fisher, Elama learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the north were limited. She has achieved small success as a Fisher.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He tends to his Crown-heir job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and to end her boredom

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. A true patriot, Margery would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Margery lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Ruler. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Ruler responsibilities is difficult; and she would like to get married and retire

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. After a long history of fighting, Kansif and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Dara was born with her mother's beautiful face. Through the years after Dara was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Dara's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear
