History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Helgret lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. History: Born in the west to a Painter, Orryn learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Locksmith, but he got bored and became a Painter. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Painter for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 11 years.
