The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Emerald was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Emerald's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
