Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Beggar. She has achieved small success as a Beggar.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
