Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Harbek isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Dwarven unity. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Harbek never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left leg, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He wears a colorful flower in his white hair. His blue unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is her passion; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Andry was born with her father's beautiful face. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She is greedy; and wants a kiss

Description: 6'6" and lanky with angular features, she is an attractive figure. She is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. Her crest is rusty and curly. She has several tiny aquamarine earrings on each ear.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She moved out east to avoid the crime she committed. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Description: With black face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His gray fur is singed and shortened. His amber eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dragonborn companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and money/treasure

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears a tan vest and prefers blue and tan shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He wears his black hair up. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Heian hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
