History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bardryn grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He is dressed in earthy colors with a tan and black handkerchief worn on his right side. His hair, while still mostly blonde, has prominent grey streaks. His gray eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He works hard and plays hard.
History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gerbo grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gerbo. After a long history of fighting, Gerbo and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: She wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. She carries with her a set of tridents on her belt, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. Her chestnut hair is singed and shortened. Her blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Thiala will drive conversation. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.
History: The child of a Shipwright, who enjoyed hunting, Thiala was taken on many hunting expeditions. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Thiala took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up trident and armor she uses now. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.
History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Human culture. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.
History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter.

History: Oriel was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Description: He is a physically imposing dark-skinned man. He wears just a white suit. He has dyed his greying white hair a little too much giving a sharp white color. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Tod is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Tod abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
