When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bricklayer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gerbo embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born in the south to a Brewer, Gerbo learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: She is a Fisher first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Caelynn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and meet up once more with her childhood friend

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Slave Trader. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Theren hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He struck the Slave Trader job and began his own company from there.
