History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Rolen was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He is a Hag in disguise. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dragonborn companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: She got into the Healer business at a young age. Through the years after Volen was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Volen's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
