History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her first spouse was a Herbalist, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He is a Doppelganger in disguise. Through the years after Halimath was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Halimath's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
