History: Unvera lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. Beleth is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: The child of a Gardener, who enjoyed hunting, Beleth was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. Bethrynna enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her childhood dream was to be a Fisher, but she was a colossal failure. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Sellsword arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety.

She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: He is a Maurezhi in disguise. He worked as a nervous Carter and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: This tall, slender woman dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. Her moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. In her 12th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
