History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Hugh was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Hugh's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: She got into the Mercenary business at a young age. Her first spouse was a Carter, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She became a Mercenary soon after.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 39. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Suhnae hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.
