History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.
History: The child of a Bowyer, who enjoyed hunting, Valida was taken on many hunting expeditions. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Valida alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She bought a shield and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and an old rival family wants her found

Description: He wears an entirely grey suit with black socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He carries a battered sai and tarnished quarterstaff as well. Sporting a black mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.
History: Born to a Bricklayer, his father struggled to pay the bills. Everard was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Carpenter. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Everard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and balancing his hectic life and new carpenter responsibilities is difficult

Description: This exceptionally lanky woman wears a blue cloak and cross-gartered brown stockings. She sports chestnut long hair. Her blue eyes are passionate and lively.
Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.
History: She was born in a small island village. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Althaea took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up rapier and armor she uses now. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

His hair is brown and curly. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Morgran fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.
History: Pelt was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Description: This western woman is abnormally tall. She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright tan and grey, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. Her hair is short and auburn. This gray eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Breena was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he has decided he is irredeemable
