Through the years after Antrara was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. History: Born in the east to a Scribe, Koeth learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Hunter, but he got bored and became a Scribe. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Scribe for hire.

History: Beast lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
