He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and money/treasure

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Doctor born in the past three hundred years. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Doctor responsibilities is difficult.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and money/treasure

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: An older man who is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright blue and tan, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, he is not a threatening figure. His red hair is braided into rings. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and to get a good night's sleep

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her divine abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
