History: He was raised in a island tribe. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Quarion alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was granted druidic powers by his dying brother.

Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying west to reunite her family. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and she seems to be bored by most things

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Courier. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This late middle aged woman wears a green cloak and cross-gartered violet stockings and is in decent physical shape. Her bronze crest has been sun bleached extensively. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.
Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.
History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Eggren never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Half-Elven people.
