Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Harbek's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was born in a small forest village. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Harbek grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Harbek. Being a Barkeep kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Through the years after Jacoba was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Jacoba's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She became a Barrister soon after.
