History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Through the years after Rurik was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Rurik's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her first spouse was a Healer, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To unite with her sister.

Description: This fat western woman has a bulbous nose and wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty violet coat over it. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her eyes are likewise hazel. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While she appears to be a normal Half-Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'9" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a violet coat. His brown hair is thinning but still full. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Actor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bertram grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
