History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: Bharash is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born in a small forest village. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Paela was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Spy and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Elven artifacts is her passion; and she's looking for her big break

His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are red.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Nykkan is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. After a long history of fighting, Cockaby and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
