History: He comes from a rich southern family. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Gilkass was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Gilkass's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
