History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Her childhood dream was to be a Sailor, but she was a colossal failure. She now owns her own business.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Dee's homeland. Dee decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. A freak accident while working with her Merchant mother left her crippled. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Her chestnut hair is greasy and uncared for. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
