Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A freak accident while working with her Dilettante father left her crippled. She tends to her Mayor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Map Maker born in the past three hundred years. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Olivia was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Map Maker.

Map Maker work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has worked as a Map Maker like her father before her.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Hadarai hails from a village terrorized by giants. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Hadarai alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants revenge against giants
