History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Hadwisa was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Painter for hire.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: The child of a Bellfounder, who enjoyed hunting, Pennie was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Ruler for the past few years.
