Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He has all his life been fascinated with music.

History: He comes from a rich western family. Kyle was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Kyle decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Description: A 5'5" southern woman, she dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. She keeps her long beige fur kept up in a rat tail. Her green eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

Description: A 4'10" eastern man, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He sports a flattop hair cut. His ears are large.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Fortune-teller but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Born in the east to a Stylist, Elizabeth learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She's also a talented Brewer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Description: She wears dark leathers with embroidery. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her gray eyes.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. Symma is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Symma grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Symma. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was born in a small island village. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Jeweler they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Detective, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins; and to reunite with his absent father

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
