History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Synthrin and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Personality: This woman loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has never given up on her dancing dream.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Mozfel hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Mozfel was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he wants revenge against brigands

Personality: She is a Mercenary first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Mercenary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Mercenary for the past few years.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone.
