History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a Bookbinder, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Shaká alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: He got into the Fortune-teller business at a young age. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
