Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Nicholas lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born into a rich family. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and obtaining odd cultural half-elven artifacts is his passion

History: Vassago lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. After coming to the age of reason, Vassago took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and doesn't want to be a scribe and was forced into it by his family

Description: She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright red and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. Her red hair is still thick. She has a dull look in her hazel eyes.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: Marigold hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the north were limited. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her childhood dream was to be a Marshal, but she was a colossal failure. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Engraver for hire.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and balancing her hectic life and new farmer responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. Oriel is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Oriel was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
