History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Kody and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Therai lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A freak accident while working with his Slave Trader mother left him crippled. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Slave Trader. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: The child of a Dilettante, who enjoyed hunting, Tharivol was taken on many hunting expeditions. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born to a Sellsword, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Quick grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Quick. She became a Doctor soon after.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Sutha was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Thava is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Hunter they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Healer, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and her religion dominates her actions
