Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His black hair and beard is wavy and long. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Ortegar was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Ortegar decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She wears a tight fitting blue shirt and pants. Her black hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Tailor born in the past three hundred years. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Tailor. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and balancing her hectic life and new tailor responsibilities is difficult

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Engraver for the past few years.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Engraver and was forced into it by his family; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Guard arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. He has worked as a Guard like his mother before him.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and balancing his hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Murook hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. The war was a terrible time for her, and Murook does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.
History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Stylist.
Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and she feels kind of lost in life

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.
History: Gifted from a young age, Uraim studied abroad. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
