History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ahlyssa was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Painter and was forced into it by his family.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 7 years.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. Being a Healer kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
