History: Born to a Performer, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Baker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Barkeep.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and revenge

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Spice Merchant arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her first spouse was a Bookbinder, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. When Virra reached her early adolescence her Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and seeks redemption

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Delg grew up listening to his father's many stories. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the west were limited. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.
