History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mercenary and was forced into it by his family; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Weaver hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it
