History: Gifted from a young age, Ranala studied abroad. After coming to the age of reason, Ranala took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Caelynn lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions
