History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Adrie was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. After a long history of fighting, Adrie and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Morthos was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a blue coat, and is pretty ugly. His tied-back hair is black. His gray eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes orcs are coming to abduct people. A true patriot, Vanuath would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Vanuath was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered orcs who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Description: This younger middle-aged woman wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during, and a wedding ring on her right hand. Her white hair is well kept. Her gray eyes peer out from beneath her feathered black hat.
Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes illithids are coming to abduct people. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Oolah is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
History: Oolah hails from a village terrorized by illithids. She took after her father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting illithids, the young Oolah began to lead the lost caravan. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
