He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Rolen lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Description: This late middle aged woman is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and pastel, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems and is in decent physical shape. Her black hair is cut short. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are amber.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Murgen isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Half-Orc unity. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
