He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She is a Courier first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tharivol grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tharivol. Being a Banker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To end his boredom.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and an old rival family wants him found

History: Koeth was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: This woman is tall and muscular. She wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized brown coat. Her hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Emmeline embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and many drow want her driven away
