One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born in a small desert village. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He got into the Bricklayer business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bricklayer. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rimmon grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. History: Nykkan was born the youngest of three triplets. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Nykkan was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Stableman they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Weaver, and he later adopted a second daughter.
