History: She was born in the south. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Birel was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Birel decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day.
