History: She comes from a rich eastern family. When Shax reached her early adolescence her Tiefling father passed away. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Brewer kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sailor. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Sailor for the past few years.
