Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Baradad was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Farideh alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Cloud lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Personality: Anne hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her singing career. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gormogord was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Cartwright. He struck the Cartwright job and began his own company from there.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Map Maker they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bounty Hunter, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Doctor born in the past three hundred years. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Doctor for the past few years.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. In her 12th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has never given up on her writing dream.
