Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Qualen embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Through the years after Qualen was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Qualen's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. History: Naill hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Naill was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and revenge

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Stannor and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and to be a mortician again

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. The war was a terrible time for her, and Ielenia does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she loathes her own lifestyle

Description: This man wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with tan colored cloaks and clothing. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized emerald on his right hand. He wears his blonde hair up in a very large beehive style do. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. Riardon is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Tailor they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Painter, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Juliana lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
