History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. History: The child of a Cartwright, who enjoyed hunting, Bucklal was taken on many hunting expeditions. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Murgen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
