History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Being a Masseuse kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mûg fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Latbag was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bookbinder. He now owns his own business.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Guard. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Her childhood dream was to be a Fortune-teller, but she was a colossal failure. She's also a talented Fortune-teller, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Trym was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Mary lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Miller. She became a Miller soon after.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she is unsatisfied with her job

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
