History: John was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Nithther hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Nithther alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: Gifted from a young age, Sarah studied abroad. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To unite with her brother.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
