History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Meriele grew up listening to her father's many stories. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Kaladan was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Kaladan decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
