History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Korinn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Korinn never married again. In her 20th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.
