He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: She was born in a small island village. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Miner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miner work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk.

She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Fistula was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A freak accident while working with her Bookbinder father left her crippled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
